Some roads are not meant to be travelled alone.
We travelled down to Cabo San Lucas with 60 of their closest family and friends. During a beautiful beach ceremony at RIU Palace with El Arco in the distance, Ashley+Nathan became husband+wife overlooking the ocean.
Saying Ashley+Nathan’s wedding day was beautiful is an understatement. From Nathan tearing up when he saw his bride, the smile on her face as she walked up the aisle, or their eyes fixed on each other… I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house.
There was a moment during their reception. With the lights strung between palm trees. The waves were crashing in the background, and moon– oh the moon was glistening over the ocean. There was a moment during their reception. They were dancing. Beaming. And in that moment, (that fleeting moment) that beautiful RAW moment my eyes started to water and oh did my heart smile.
Because of the story.
Because these two had become friends. Wholeheartedly.
Because we were there. There with their closest family+friends. For all of it.
Between Mexico explorations, poolside pina coladas, or early morning flights, these two welcomed us with open arms. (Literally! Nathan gives the best hugs!).
And in that moment, that beautiful perfect moment– these two sweet souls were now husband+wife.
Nathan and Ashley, I love you guys. Congratulations. xx
