We hopped in my truck and headed towards Mount Cheam for their engagement session with a pitt stop along the Chilliwack River where Jay goes kayaking. Chatting about their hiking+camping adventures, oh-so-many hobbies, and their September wedding plans… we made our way up the bumpy service road. Thanks to #snowmageddon and the late snow falls this year, there was still snow at the top (even 4 wheel drive couldn’t do the trick with those deep snow filled dips in the road). We were unable to reach the parking lot, but we had a blast adventuring in our sandals regardless.
