Last Sunday I met with Erik+Daniella at Deer Lake Park in Burnaby to document their engagement. Between the fall leaves, this good looking couple, and the thanksgiving dinner+apple pie waiting for when we got home… it was a good afternoon ;)
I had a blast hanging out with these guys. I have to say, after reading their questionairres this week… I am even more excited for their wedding next summer in the Okanagan. They are SO GREAT. Actually.

Erik+Daniella met in September of 2007 while Daniella was the receptionist at their work. It wasn’t until their work Christmas party in December where their story really begins…
They chatted for a while that evening and Daniella later excused herself… but left her cell phone on the table. What did Erik do? Hijack her phone number of course. :) Erik ”came, [he] saw, and [he] conquered”. Daniella went home that night and told her parents how she had met her future husband. She couldn’t help but think ”OH MY GOSH, I’m going to marry him.”
Erik’s first thoughts? … ”She’ll do.” ;)
In January, they went on their first date to a sushi restaurant with a million ice cream flavors. He found the perfect way to her heart… through FOOD. :) The rest is history!
Daniella’s favorite thing about Erik is ”his inappropriate humour and he is genuine. He makes me laugh everyday no matter what! He is only himself and never tries to be anything else”. Erik’s favorite thing about Daniella? ”She loves the whole me. Daniella is the best most awesome person ever”.
Well guys, I cannot wait for your fun, casual, and romantic wedding next summer! Hope you enjoyed your pie! ;)
