Today I am feeling nostalgic. Sentimental. Happy. A tad bit sad… but my heart is smiling. And smiling big. 

I have been trying to write this post for a while. A post of reflection. Because, lets be honest, I don’t journal and I want to remember. So, blog post it is.

As my days as ’21’ come to an end, I am thankful for a year spent living.

It has been the best year. Cheesy I know, but to be honest, I have never really felt like my life has been exciting enough to actually say that. Like I did anything significant besides just existing.

This year I learned to live. To live full. And what it means to be truly happy. And that in itself, is the best thing I could have asked for. So it was. This past year has been the best.

Going through the past ”instagrams” makes me so happy. Thankful. Truly Blessed. For the moments, the snapshots, the laughs, and everyday moments that have made this year part of my story.

So here is to twenty-one. And…

The songs that have been butchered.

The miles that have been covered.

The non-fat earl grey tea lattes that have brought energy (and comfort) to long flights or layovers.

The friendships that have ignited, and ones that have grown.

The one hour coffee dates that turn into eight hour adventures.

The last minute flights and learning that not always going with the plan is OK.

The best conversations that have taken place over late night INN-N-Out runs.

The “clients” that have become friends.

And the everyday moments that have become lifelong memories.

22, I have high hopes for you. Let’s do this.
