We attempted to run away from the rain (or that was my hope anyways!) for a weekend away in Whistler filled with snow, family time, snowboarding, hot chocolate, snowshoeing, exploring… and did I mention snow??

This girl has been craving adventure, and what better way to do that than laughing all the way down the mountain with my two sisters as we fall on our faces snowboarding?? ;)

After a bit of hesitation from the torrential downpour the night before at the base (hello slushy mess!) we braved the conditions, strapped on our snowboards (apparently I haven’t been in 5-6 years?? crazy!) and headed up the chair lift. Up a couple lifts at the very top, that torrential downpour resulted in six inches of fresh powder, some gorgeous snow covered trees, and a lot of fun playing around with my new GoPro!
