On my to-do board this winter is to ”take photos for fun”. I realized this summer amongst the busyness wedding season brings, I stopped shooting for me. All my photos the past 6 months have been mainly weddings, clients, location scouting, or prep for the next wedding. I have been wanting to make an effort to try out some new ideas, take on a few personal photo projects this season… and to ACTUALLY try out a few of those things on my Pinterest boards. ;) haha
Today I did just that. I took photos for fun. With an earl grey tea latte in my cup holder, Christmas music playing on the radio, my new warm fuzzy toque on, and my camera in my passengers seat… I drove. And drove. And stopped and took photos. And sung along. And drove some more. With rain in the forecast tomorrow, it was nice to enjoy an hour of stillness; an hour enjoying the peace and beauty the falling snow brings. I LOVE the snow, so to luck out and have a day without any editing, meetings, or photo shoots… it was such a blessing to be able to enjoy it while it lasted.
PS. Also thankful to live in the country. And on days like today… in the middle of no where. Man, BC is so beautiful.
