We walked through the park. Laughing and telling stories. Listening to how they started dating while Alana was in high school and hearing bear stories. Yes, bears in Coquitlam. Mitchell+Alana grew up in the area and it was so special to document their engagement in the local park where they take their two kiddies to play.

The weather this past weekend was BEAUTIFUL. I definitely left home extra early so I could grab a passion tea lemonade from Starbucks (delish!) and just sit and enjoy the sunshine– something that won’t happen too often now that ”wedding season” is in full force.

Alana, I know you hoped for rain so you could rock your gumboots and umbrella, but you guys definitely rocked your sunny engagement session. I had a wonderful afternoon hanging out and chatting with you both. Enjoy!
