Hmm… Where to begin. Alrighty. So… a couple weeks ago I posted Part One of my trip to Wenatchee, WA. If you haven’t seen it yet you should definitely GO CHECK IT OUT. Anyways, as you can probably tell from Part One Nicole is pretty awesome. We met last June at Jamie Delaine’s workshop. At the end of September I headed down to see Nicole for her Find Your Light workshop. I decided to split this week up into four blog posts…
Buuutttt. I couldn’t wait to post these photos of Nicole (Part Four), sooooooo I am going to change the order. Bam. I think by editing these I am trying to pretend I am back to that gorgeous weather, stunning lighting and out of this stormy, rainy weather. Can you say blaahhh. Anyways, on my last day in Wenatchee, Nicole and I had a date day. Yuppers. We went to her house first to pick up a few things and then headed to her studio. I loved being able to check it out while she still has it! We then headed off to lunch. We sat outside at this cute little cafe. Their salad wraps were so yummy! Now, we had thrown around the idea of a photo walk but I dont’t think either of us thought it would turn into a full on photo shoot of each other in the desert! Believe it or not, even as photographers it is super weird being in front of the camera. The location was AMAZING! It is one of my favorite locations Nicole uses for her Senior photos so I was super excited when we pulled up to the spot she had in mind. I maaaayyyy have been rocking a pretty country-ish outfit too so we will see how that one turns out. :)
I had such a wonderful time with Nicole. Her cheerful, fun, and encouraging nature just makes you feel good. So refreshing. It was neat watching Nicole at the workshop. She has such a genuine heart that loves to see people succeed. It has been so cool watching her business grow over the past year especially with senior photography! One thing that really stood out to me was we just talked. And talked. And laughed. And talked. Aha. Definitely not something I do too often! This lady is incredible! I loved spending hours talking about business, photography, and shooting out ideas to help each others business’s grow. Low key, lighthearted, and completely honest… but laughing every step of the way. Nicole, it was so nice to be able to spend time with you and your family. Thank you so much for everything- the lunch dates, car rides, and showing the ”Canadian girl” around town. :) I hope you had a wonderful time travelling with your hubby and son! Can’t wait for our next visit!
Left: I tried out Nicole’s Lens Baby quickly. Tricky but so fun. Love these.
This makes me smile. So fun. Love you Nicole!
