If you would like to read more about my trip to Santa Barbara, California, you can check it out here. :)
…
After a late night at Matt Kennedy’s sparkler class, our alarm went off a mere three hours later at 4:30 am for a sunrise vineyard shoot at Sunstone winery in the Santa Ynez mountains with Mike Larson. It was a cold morning. Like cold. Like frost on the grass, thick with fog, and frozen hands cold. Surprising, I know. I don’t think any of us were expecting that in California.
Sunstone Winery was absolutely beautiful! It was so neat to learn the history and meaning behind the location (you can check out a bit of the history here). There is so much more than meets the eye and it definitely gave a different perspective of the location we were shooting at. I loved our class with Mike and the many interesting faq’s and tips he shared throughout the morning. PS. Huge thanks to our awesome models Jeremy+Ashley for being such great sports in the cold! Anyways, enjoy!
… and one of yours truly. Thanks for the photo Nicole!
