They got married on the Gulf Islands. With the salty air, fresh ferns, and sillouette of the mountains across the ocean. Colin grew up on Quadra, and spent quite a bit of time here on their neighbors property, so it was the perfect sentimental location for their intimate wedding celebrations. 

I loved how Jaclyn and Colin incorporated the natural elements into their wedding decor. From all the driftwood, to the ferns + wildflowers on their arch. Jaclyn even added a few ferns to her bouquet in the morning. 

There were so many sweet + emotional moments throughout the day between Jaclyn’s touching first look with her dad, their hand-written vows, heartfelt speeches+stories, to their father-daughter dance where her dad surprised her with a slideshow of photos in the background. There was definitely a whole lot of kleenex getting passed around.

J+C created such fun + laid back environment for their island wedding complete with outdoor lawn games to canoes full of ice for their guest’s drink of choice. I’m sure they had a blast dancing the night away with the twinkle lights + salty air.
