Back in February+March at United and WPPI I hung out with this super awesome girl, Jaime. She was crazy fun, we clicked, and had a blast hanging out, exploring, and talking about photography+life. It worked out to head down to California to shoot a BEACH wedding, engagement session, and a mini session of Jaime+her hubby Ryan at the Orange County State Fair in July (blog posts coming soon). What was originally flying down for the weekend to shoot Phil+Courtney’s wedding and then flying home, turned into an extended weekend full of exploring, shooting, and lots of car dance parties. ;) HUGE thanks to Jaime and her awesome hubby Ryan for letting me crash at their place!

Annnyyways, this girly is at Disneyland ALLLLL THE TIMEEE. Like seriously. With that said, I wasn’t surprised when Jaime mentioned the possibility of me staying an extra day (or two) to hit up Disneyland before I flew back home. Let me tell ya, I am SOO glad we did. We covered pretty much all Disneyland and California Adventure in that one day (thanks to Jaime’s special pass) and I learned oh-so-many random facts throughout the day with the best Disney-guide-ever! Best way to see it. :)

I also decided to bring my camera. What happens when two photographers hit up Disneyland?? Goofy photos, detail shots, more photos and a surprise mini shoot of a couple who got engaged in front of the castle! So fun.

At the end of the day, Jaime and I were booking it back to New Orleans to grab dinner and get a spot to watch Fantasmic (Jaime’s fav). While deciding on a food place, Jaime got a call from Ryan, her hubby, asking where we were eating dinner. She told him our plan, and then he replied with ”You are not going to dinner at Downtown Disney? You’re staying in the park?” Turns out, Ryan drove all the way up to Anaheim to spend the evening with us only to find out his pass was blocked. So sweet! Anyways, we met up with Ryan outside the park, had a great dinner at Naples in Downtown Disney, and watched the fireworks from outside the park before heading home. :) Such a great day.

Breaky in Adventureland and Disney Starbucks cups! Totally shouldn’t have eaten before going on Indianna Jones+ The Haunted House… haha I think Jaime quite enjoyed watching me jump! ;)
