This past weekend I went camping at Porteau Cove. Excellent weather, awesome friends, gorgeous location and an endless supply of country music… couldn’t get any better! ;) This was the first time I had been camping for a while and I realized how much I missed it! The setting was absolutely beautiful! It was right on the ocean just outside of Squamish with the sun setting behind the mountains every night. On Saturday we spent the day walking around Whistler village and just hanging out in town. I decided that Whistler is one of my favorite places. ;) Although I have only been there in the summer, I think a trip in the winter as the snow is falling on all the cute buildings is a definite must! (Maybe even a possible photog location?!? :)) We then headed back to the campsite for a nice relaxing and super quiet evening of sitting around the campfire and making s’mores. Yummy! P.S. The stars were AMAZING on Saturday night! Clear sky, in the middle of no where, lying out on the beach stargazing… probably one of my favorite summer nights for sure! Sunday morning we went to Shannon Falls and did a little mini hiking adventure around there. I only took a few photo’s this weekend but here they are.  making dinner…
