Where oh where did the weekend go? I mean everyone loves the weekend. No work. Time to do whatever you choose or get things done. I find I have seriously been asking myself this question for the past few weeks. Where oh where did the weekend go? One thing that I absolutely love about my new job is I have learned to really appreciate and value early mornings. Now, you may be thinking what the heck Tal? Why start work at 7am when you can work at 9? Well, the truth is… I LOVE mornings. I love getting to the office with only a handful of others there. I love the super short Starbucks lines and the quiet commute. I love the fresh morning air and driving to work while there are still stars out. (I kid you not. So funny.) But most of all, I love the stillness. I love working those two hours without the ringing phones or the constant interruptions. I love waking up on Saturday mornings, going for a run meeting someone for coffee and it knowing I still have the rest of my day because it is only 10am. Craziness I know.
Anyways, as I am sitting here after my not-as-productive-as-i-hoped weekend but super fun, friends, and family filled weekend (which is even better ;)) I thought I would share a few personal photos. These are some B&W’s I got developed for my house that I received these in the mail earlier this week. They are all landscape/city photos mostly from my trip to California this summer and Mexico in January but there are a few randoms as well. Picture these in chunky black frames. Ta Da! Here are the new occupants on my walls… (OH! And PS. I am so not a high-end-name-brand-shops-on-Rodeo-drive-kinda-girl but Rodeo drive is a pretty great Photography location. :))
Enjoy! Guess who?? ;)
