They flew down to Cabo San Lucas for a week of celebrations with their closest family + friends at Sandos Finisterra. From cheering on the Toronto Raptors from a Mexican sports bar, to getting new tattoos, to a catamaran excursion with their crew (see story and photos below!). These two definitely had a fun-filled wedding week.

It was so great to be back in Cabo at Sandos Finisterra again. Shooting weddings at this resort is always a dream, and I can’t wait to be back again this fall! Congratulations Steph+Chris!! I loved celebrating with you + your crew. xo

Chris and I have a funny story – we actually met back in high school and dated for 2 years on opposite ends of the city, we broke up and didn’t see or hear from each other for another 6 years until we ended up working at the same restaurant chain downtown Toronto! We haven’t looked back since then (back in 2013) and became a chef/manager duo opening up restaurants across the US from Earls. We lived in Chicago and Texas but opened many in between, we just made the move back this past April to settle our lives and be back with our families that are growing quickly!

We picked Cabo because it was our very first trip we went on as a couple. It was the spot where we said, okay let’s start planning forever. We got engaged this past December and went to Mexico shortly after and decided then and there for a destination wedding. What is cooler than all of your friends and family relaxed and there for a good time? Sandos became an option once we saw how gorgeous the views were, proximity to downtown and just pure value for service and food.

The day after their wedding we all headed down to the marina for a day adventuring around Cabo via catamaran. With the sun beaming, music playing, we headed out on the water. About 40 minutes in, the boat stopped due to engine issues and long story short, after a rocky wait while they tried to get it fixed, we ended up getting rescued by a few smaller boats. It was quite the adventure.
