RECAP :: Back in February+March at United and WPPI I hung out with this super awesome girl, Jaime. She was crazy fun, we clicked, and had a blast hanging out, exploring, and talking about photography+life. It worked out to head down to California to shoot a BEACH wedding, engagement session, and a mini session of Jaime+her hubby Ryan at the Orange County State Fair in July (blog posts coming soon). What was originally flying down for the weekend to shoot Phil+Courtney’s wedding and then flying home, turned into an extended weekend full of exploring, shooting, and lots of car dance parties. ;) HUGE thanks to Jaime and her awesome hubby Ryan for letting me crash at their place! ::

So first of all, I love the beach. Love it. (Side note– I apologize for those of you who read this regularly and are sick of me talking about my ”LOOOVEEE for the beach”) haha. Anyways, California has a special place in my heart. I am so incredibly thankful for this opportunity and the chance to shoot one of the weddings on my photography bucket list :: a beach wedding in California. Pretty stoked about this.

Besides capturing incredible couples decide on forever, one of my favorite things about being a full time photographer is the INCREDIBLE people you meet along the way. This has been a year of travel, new experiences, A LOT of learning, and many incredible new friendships. It has been an adventure, let me tell ya… but an adventure SOO worth taking.

I believe the journey is the destination, so I am excited to be able to share just that. Not just photos of the beautiful beach wedding, or SOCAL engagement session. But the fun, the laughs, the overtired dance parties, the strange, quirky faces, and everyday adventures of this girl behind the camera.
