Today was an ordinary day. Simple. Boring you could say. Just a regular day. Tonight I went for a walk with a friend. I have definitely been loving and taking full advantage of the gorgeous weather this week.

Driving home, I rolled the windows down. Sunglasses on, country music on shuffle, and hair blowing in the wind. Completely careless; at peace. I drove past our street, down some back country roads… and just drove.

It is evenings like this; moments like this that I want to absorb and last forever. Simple. Beautiful. So full of life. Perfectly ordinary. It is nights like tonight that completely fill my heart and I feel truly happy. Amidst everything, I am so thankful for this stage of life I am in. Happy, inspired, full, and truly content. For that I am so blessed.

Dear me… enjoy the beautiful summer evenings. Roll the windows down. Let your hair get messy. And find true happiness in the extra ordinary.
